Are you wondering who they are? Well they’re only the best band in the world. They were described as a band ahead of their time, in their music and artwork.

At the time the Poppies started mixing rap and grunge together everyone was scared and dismissed them as too white and now look everyone does it, Limp Bizkit, Sum 41, Crazy Town, Linkin Park, I could go on and on.

The poppies best moment came in January 1993 when they were dropped by RCA and had a top ten hit with “Get the girl kill the baddies”, which was their best chart position ever.

For me their best album was “The looks or the lifestyle”, It had many of their best songs.

Their second best album would be “Dos Dedos Mis Amigos” (Two fingers my friends) it was also their last, when they split up in 96. A real shame though, because this was their time, bands like Limp Bizkit and the rest are ever so popular despite how shit their music is.

Most of the people who listen to their music are those skater guys who are interested in image, put on Limp Bizkit and just skate, they're not interest in the music, just trying to fit in with the majority.

Anyways I wish Clint (Front man) and the rest of the Poppy family the best of luck in the their solo projects.

Clint has his own site now and is working on a soundtrack for the new batman movie and “Knock around Guys”; he was also going to work on the new Resident Evil movie but Marilyn Manson was picked instead. Clint Mansell is ok with it though he scored "Requiem for a dream", (Excellent) "Pi", "The hole", "Rain", "Murder by numbers" (Sandra bullock), "Abandon", "Sonny" (directed by Nicholas Cage and stars the guy from the Spiderman film Harry Osborn and features Harry Dean Stanton), finally "Lord of the rings: The two towers" flick used his "requiem for a dream" score for their trailer.
